Mosaic Templars Cultural Center (MTCC), a museum of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, will hold a Kids Involved in Dynamic Service (K.I.D.S.) Volunteer Day and Easter Egg Hunt.  The event will be held on Saturday, April 23, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

K.I.D.S. is a new program at MTCC for children between the ages of ten and fifteen. Members of the program will have an opportunity once every three months to volunteer for a special project organized by the museum. There will also be an indoor Easter egg scavenger hunt in the museum for history clues and prizes!

Children will make birdhouses and butterfly houses for OakForest Community Garden. “Our K.I.D.S. volunteer days have been a success and we’re looking forward to getting the kids fired up for our next program,” says Quantia Fletcher, director of education at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, “it’s a great way for children to connect with their community.”

This event will be held at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, located at 501 West Ninth Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. Admission is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
