Minority teacher scholarships available at UAPB

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Applications for the Arkansas Geographical Critical Needs Minority Teacher Scholarship Program are now available for the spring 2016 semester at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

 

UAPB administers the scholarship program that was reauthorized by the 84th General Assembly (Act 1746) to address the shortage of public school teachers, particularly minority teachers, in the Delta Region. The program awards up to $1,500 per academic year (fall and spring semesters) for full-time enrollment and up to $750 per academic year for part-time enrollment.

 

The Arkansas Geographical Critical Needs Minority Teacher Scholarship Program may be used at any two-year or four-year college or university in the state of Arkansas.
