Cirque de Couture held September 9, 2011 was a fashion designer contest and showcase hosted by the 501(c)3 non-profit, SARPA (Sexual Assault Recovery and Prevention Agency) based in Fayetteville.  Funds generated from this event directly benefit the non-profit's services such as their 24-hour rape crisis hotline, educational seminars, assault nurse examiner clinic and a host of other resources.

Little Rock fashion designer participants were fashion labels N'chole Feroce and Richie Clark Clothing.  N'chole Feroce also participated in Little Rock Fashion Week this year.  Othe designers in participation were Fayetteville labels Chavon Shree whom also showcased her line during Little Rock Fashion Week and the winner of this competition Angelia Barbee.

The "circus" theme created a fun atmosphere at The Rogue Lounge on Dixon Street with a musical performance by Randall Shreve and the Sideshow.  As more and more designers emerge from Little Rock and surrounding areas in Arkansas, we are sure to see more events of this nature in the future.  Organizers of Cirque de Couture were happy with the community involvement and the outcome of designers from Little Rock being in attendance.  Funds were secured and Dr. Kindi Stone says that this annual benefit will help the non-profit continue their 24-hour rape crisis hotline and will provide hope for victims for the coming year.
