LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – If you’re part of ministry or organization, you’re welcome to take part in an event entitled “Let’s Talk!” This event will be held Saturday, March 12 at the Southwest Community Center, 6401 Baseline Road in Little Rock, from 10 am-1 pm.

“Live Free,” which is one of the many programs at In His Image Youth Development Center, is funded by the UAPB Minority Initiative Sub Recipient Grant Office to promote tobacco prevention among African-American and Hispanic/Latina residents who live in southwest Pulaski County of Little Rock.

Easter Fashion Parade March 19 at UAPB Fine Arts Center

PINE BLUFF, Ark. -- The Jefferson County Single Parent Scholarship Board is gearing up for the Third Annual Easter Fashion Parade. The fashion show is on Saturday, March 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Hathaway-Howard Fine Arts Center.

Coordinated by Alamae Harris, the show will feature the latest in women’s and men’s fashions from area retailers. Commentators, Dr. Kaye Crippen and Kalari Turner from UAPB’s fashion merchandising and design program, will bring their own blend of insight and experience. The event will feature food, a silent auction, vendors, door prizes and live music from the Gloryland Pastor’s Choir. Guests may also take photos with the Easter Bunny.
