WHAT:            
Keep America Beautiful and Keep Arkansas Beautiful will present awards to Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Clean & Beautiful for 31 years of KAB affiliation and Hot Springs/Garland County Beautification Commission for 20 years.

5-7 p.m. (The Center Street gate will open at 4:45 p.m.)

(There will be no parking inside the Mansion gates; parking will be available on Center, Spring and 18th streets.)

WHY:           
Founded in 1981, the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Clean & Beautiful Commission is the oldest affiliate member of Keep America Beautiful in Arkansas. The Hot Springs/Garland County Beautification Commission began in 1986 as a group of volunteers interested in beautifying the community. Both organizations participate in citywide litter cleanups, recycling initiatives and beautification projects in their communities, such as planting trees.
