14th Annual Enchanted Land of Lights and Legends

Thousands of lights create a winter wonderland in Regional Park as over 100 specialty lighting displays can be viewed from the comfort of your vehicle as you drive along the 1.2-mile route. This year's display promises be better than ever. No admission charge, but donations accepted at exit. Call 870-536-7600 for more information. Runs through Dec. 31.

Ouachita County Historic Foundation Presents: Camden Christmas by Candlelight

It will be at the Historic McCollum-Chidester House at 926 Washington in Camden Saturday night Dec. 11.

Adults are $5 and Children are $3

Candles will grandly illuminate the house as the costumed tour guides take you back to the 1800s.

UAPB Homecoming Traffic Information

After the UAPB Homecoming football game Pine Bluff Police Officers, Jefferson County Deputies, and Arkansas State Police Troopers will be positioned at intersections and directing traffic through specific streets to ensure an orderly exit from the campus. The following traffic control pattern will begin at the conclusion of the UAPB Homecoming Game:

  • University Drive will be closed to all north bound traffic following the conclusion of the game.  
  • All traffic on Martha Mitchell Expressway will be east and west abound only.
  • There will be no traffic from side streets allowed onto University Avenue.
  •  L.A. “Prexy” Davis Drive will be one way south bound from UAPB to Pullen Street.
  • All traffic on Pullen will be directed west towards Dollarway Road.

Movies on the River

A special Halloween event starting at 5 p.m. and includes candy, entertainment and the Disney movie "The Haunted Mansion" at 7 p.m. It's at the brand new Riverwalk Amphitheater. Bring your lawn chairs or stadium seats to watch the movie under the stars against the backdrop of the Ouachita River on the big screen with a massive theater sound system.
