PBHS Marching Band invited to perform at 2017 London New Year's Day Parade

PINE BLUFF, Ark. - On Tuesday, September 29, the Past Lord Mayor Robert Davis of London, England, will be presenting the Pine Bluff High Marching Band with an official invitation to perform in the 2017 London New Years Day Parade.

London Dignitaries in attendance will be:

  • Past Lord Mayor Robert Davis MBE,DL
  • Robert Bone - Executive Director of LNYDP
  • Geraldine Bone - Director of LNYDP
  • Jonathan Whaley - Director Of International Participation

The Pine Bluff High Band will be the first band from the state of Arkansas to perform in London, England, according to the Pine Bluff High School officials. The band is led by Timothy Scott, Cary Clayton and Fredrick Warren.

PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) - The Pine Bluff high school football team put on their pads for the final time this spring on Tuesday.

The Zebra's had a good size crowd out to watch their spring game. The bad new this year they will be without top recruit Will Gragg.

Gragg announced last week he would play his senior season for Dumas as a result of his father being named the superintendent. According to E-S-P-N recruiting Will Gragg is the top recruit in Arkansas and the seventh best tight end in the class of 2015. Gragg is uncommitted but has over 40 division one offers.

PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) - Former U-C-A head basketball coach Clarence Finley officially hired as the zebras new boys basketball coach.

Finley met with his team for the first time Tuesday afternoon. The former U-C-A head coach spent just one season with the Bears following Corliss Williamson's departure for the Sacramento Kings.

Finley dismissed by the Bears earlier this year following an eight and 21 season.

Camden native one of 40 signees to play football at Tech

Camden native one of 40 signees to play football at Tech

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Tech University Head Football Coach and Athletic Director Steve Mullins announced the signing of 40 student-athletes to National Football Letters of Intent on Wednesday.

The group of 40 signees includes players from eight different states, including 18 high school players from the state of Arkansas. Among the state of Arkansas signees are three players from Class 7A State semifinalist North Little Rock and Dardanelle High School All-State kicker/punter Randy Velazquez.
