Police still looking for information on hit-and-run that killed 15-year-old | News
PULASKI COUNTY, Ark., (KTHV) - Nearly a week after a 15-year-old boy was hit by a car and killed in Pulaski County, the search for the driver continues.
Police said while 15-year-old Masen Faver was walking near the 31000 block of Willow Springs Road with a friend on May 23, a speeding car rounded a curve, hit him, and left him for dead.
Lt. Carl Minden said in the last six days, they have received some tips but not enough to ID the car or the driver, and they need the public's help.
The hit-and-run happened around 9 p.m. on a Thursday. The car is described as a white four-door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet. Police said the right front end is likely damaged, and they believe the driver probably lives in or knows someone in the area.
"Really what we're hoping to do is to kind of bring it to light out into the public again and hopefully somebody saw something, knows something. At this point anything could be beneficial to you. It could seem like just the most trivial thing to you, but it may be something that could actually help us solve this case," Minden said.
Anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run is asked to call Pulaski County Sheriff's Office at 340-6963.
