Man shot 9 times in Pine Bluff remains in ICU

PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) - Pine Bluff police are asking that anyone with information about a Sunday night shooting contact authorities.

In a press release, Regina VonTungeln with the Pine Bluff Police Department said that officers were called to a home on South Belmont St. around 9:30 p.m. Sunday in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival, VonTungeln said that Jarmar Williams was laying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Jefferson Regional Medical Center where it was determined that he had been shot nine times.

Two men were taken into questioning.

According to the press release, Williams was in the ICU in critical condition as of 9 a.m. Monday.
