Pine Bluff PD asks public for help in finding wanted man

PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) - The Pine Bluff Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a man who rammed his vehicle into another vehicle, threatened their life and drove off.

According to police reports, at 7 a.m. Wednesday morning, Tyran Rakim Williams, 22, used the vehicle he was driving to ram into another's vehicle on the 2500 block of Hazel Street. During the initial investigation of the accident, he allegedly threatened to kill both the victim and law enforcement.

The vehicle Williams was driving was later recovered, but the owner told police that Williams was not authorized to be inside their home to get the vehicle's keys.

Williams is approximately 6'0" tall, weighing between 180 to 200 pounds.

Williams is wanted for three counts of Aggravated Assault, two counts of Criminal Mischief, and one count each of 1st Degree Terroristic Threatening, Residential Burglary, and Theft of Property. All charges listed are felonies.

Williams has been known to carry a handgun and is to be considered dangerous. Anyone with information as to his location is asked to contact the Pine Bluff Police Department's Detective Division at (870) 730-2090 or Dispatch at (870) 541-5300.
