Pine Bluff community to hold candlelight vigil for 85-year-old business owner

PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) - In honor of the death of 85-year-old Pine Bluff business owner, Lenon Buie, the community is going to hold a candlelight vigil on Sunday. 

Buie was found shot to death behind Buie's Grocery located at 3200 Port Road around 2:50 a.m., January 8. Found near his body, were the clothes police believe were worn by the suspect during the murder. They also said personal items belonging to Buie are missing, and that they believe robbery is a likely motive.

The candlelight vigil will be held Sunday, January 10 at 6 p.m. at Buie's Grocery in Pine Bluff. Organizers are asking for the public to join the family and community in honoring the life and legacy of a man that was well-loved in the Pine Bluff community.
