Student named fraternity national scholar

 

 

 Travis A. Adams, a junior political science major at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB), has been named a National Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Scholar. The award is given to collegiate members of the fraternity who demonstrate high academic achievement, community involvement, and superior leadership abilities. With the award comes a stipend which the designee can use for academic related cost.

A Blytheville, Arkansas native, Travis is a member of the George “Doc” Jones Forensic Association, Vice-President of the Beta Theta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Honors College. Upon completion of his degree he plans to attend law school.
