PINE BLUFF, Ark. (ATT) - AT&T continues its mission to educate and inform students across Arkansas about the dangers of texting while driving. As part of the “It Can Wait” movement, AT&T is taking the virtual texting while driving chair simulator around the state from March 28th through April 5th. On April 4th, the virtual simulator is making its way to Pine Bluff High School to provide students a 3-D driving simulation that re-creates the eyes-off-the-road and hands-off-the-wheel experience of texting while driving. The simulator is a video game driving setup that houses a chair, steering wheel, pedals, and monitor for the driver.

The “It Can Wait” movement has one simple message: No text is worth dying for…It Can Wait. Since the beginning of the campaign, more than 3.5 million pledges have been logged, but it doesn’t stop there. AT&T continues to reiterate its message and encourages the public to do the same and spread the message to friends and family.

AT&T representatives will be on-site managing the simulator experience and capturing pledges. Participants will be given branded It Can Wait sunglasses, a No Text on Board window cling, and/or a thumb band to remind them not to text while driving.
