PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The Pine Bluff Arsenal will continue their hunting program on the installation for the upcoming season.

Hunter safety briefings will be conducted twice daily with one at 11:30 a.m. and one at 6 p.m., Aug. 28, Sept. 4 and 11 at Creasy Auditorium, outside Plainview Gate. Individuals who wish to hunt on the installation will need to attend one of these briefings or they will be denied hunting privileges. Individuals who have been convicted of a felony or have felony charges pending, convicted of a DUI/DWI within the past seven years, or have any type of weapons or domestic abuse charges will be denied hunting privileges.

Persons who wish to hunt must submit Pine Bluff Arsenal Form 190-5 to Pine Bluff Arsenal Natural Resource Specialist. Forms will be provided at the safety briefings. Hunters will not be notified of the background investigation results unless they are denied hunting privileges. Interested individuals should allow two weeks from the date of submission before calling to inquire about status of hunting requests.

Hunting participants, regardless of age, must have completed the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Hunter Safety Course or equal prior to being authorized to hunt on the Arsenal. Permits will only be issued during normal business hours when a participant has attended one of the scheduled PBA safety briefings, passed the security background check, presented a valid hunter safety card, and permit has been signed by the Arsenal command.
