PINE BLUFF, Ark. -- Lifeguard classes will be offered starting April 1 at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB). A collaboration between the Division of Continuing Education, Health and Physical Education, and the American Red Cross, the class is open to candidates 15 years of age or older. The cost of the course is $190, which includes books and materials.

Classes will be held on the following dates and times at the Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) Complex pool:

Friday, April 1st, 5:00 pm -9:00 p.m.          Saturday, April 2nd, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

Friday, April 8th, 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.       Saturday, April 9th, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Friday, April 15th, 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.     Saturday, April 16th, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
