SAU Tech hosts volleyball event

CAMDEN, Ark. – SAU Tech will have its Co-ed Mud Volleyball and Baggo Tournament on April 30 at 9 am. Sponsors must register by April 12; teams must register by April 22. CAMDEN, Ark. -- Holly Springs Baptist Church will be hosting its "Cruising for Christ" event March 19 at Victory Church, located at 1283 Highway 278 Bypass in Camden. The cost is $15 per bike, plus $10 for an extra rider. Ride registration begins at 9 a.m.

Show registration is noon-1PM; the show ends at 4 p.m.  There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, boothes and music at the Bike Show Location. For more info or to pre-register call 678-3439. Proceeds go to support HSBC's local and international mission trips.

Bass Tournament set for March 19

PINE BLUFF, Ark. - It's time to get your bass boats ready for the 14th Annual Sanders-Piper Bass Tournament, Saturday, March 19 on the Arkansas River out of the Pine Bluff Regional Park.

Boats will launch according to their paid registration numbers.  The early entry fee is $110.00 per 2 person team, which puts you also in the $500.00 Big Bass Pot.  Your entry fee also includes two tickets to the King Kat Fish Fry immediately following the weigh-in.

Winners of the tournament will receive $2,500.00 cash. Top 10 places are guaranteed cash and prices. Additionally, the first 75 teams to register will receive a free official tournament shirt.  There will also be six $50 cash drawings, but you must be wearing your official t-shirt to win.

Port City S.P.E.E.D. AAU Track & Field Club accepting applications

The Port City S.P.E.E.D. AAU Track & Field Club is currently accepting applications for Boys and Girls ages 5 to 18 to participate in the 2011 Summer Track Season. 

Off season Strength and EnduranceTraining is held each Tuesday and Thursday beginning December 7, 2010 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.  This will take place at the Bethany Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Gymnasium, located at 1923 South Olive Street in Pine Bluff, AR.
