Photo Gallery | Relay for Life benefit breakfast a 'success'

A release from the City of Pine Bluff:

PINE BLUFF, Ark. --  The City of Pine Bluff Relay for Life Team just held their City-Wide Relay for Life Breakfast today from 9am – 11am in the City Council Chambers and it was a total success.

On behalf of Mayor Debe Hollingsworth, she would like to thank the Interim Police Chief Jeff Hubanks, Deputy Chief Susie Powell, Lt. Shirley Warrior, the Americorp Cadets, the City of Pine Bluff Employees and most definitely the citizens of our great city,  for the support put forth by everyone to guarantee our success.  The City of Pine Bluff Relay for Life team has raised $633 from the City-Wide Relay for Life Breakfast event, which supports “The American Cancer Society.”

Team Captain Lanette R. Frazier said, “This was a heartfelt moment for me to see all the employees and citizens come out to support such a worthy cause.”

The City of Pine Bluff Relay for Life team has 41 members and has set a goal of $4,000.  To date the team has raised $2,493.43 towards their goal. 

The next fundraiser for the City of Pine Bluff Relay for Life team will be a “Fellowship Luncheon” on  April 26, 2013 from noon until 2 pm in the City Council Chambers.  Menu will be your choice of hot dog, polish sausage, or cheese nachos with chips and a drink for $5.  Come out and enjoy food, fun, and fellowship while supporting The American Cancer Society.
